On Tuesday, 21st October, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Devonshire Square will celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, by hosting in its atmospheric Western Courtyard its highly anticipated Diwali Festival!
The FREE-to-attend event – part of Devonshire Square’s multicultural events program – will come alive with the pulsating rhythms of traditional Dhol drummers and spectacular dance performances by some of the UK’s finest Indian folk, classical, and contemporary dancers, presented by Akademi South Asian Dance UK.
The event will also showcase one of India’s most beautiful and traditional visual arts, Rangoli, created on-site by award-winning artist Miguel Rajaguru.
Guests will be treated to a complimentary tasting experience of Indian confectionery specialties and an assorted selection of Diwali canapés, accompanied by the ‘Aurora of Joy’, a golden-hued, comforting drink that radiates warmth, aromatic elegance, and festive sparkle, serving as an authentic ode to light, joy, and celebration.
The ‘Aurora of Joy’ has been exclusively created for Devonshire Square’s Diwali Festival by the talented mixologists at Cinnamon Kitchen, Devonshire Square’s iconic Indian restaurant, founded by internationally acclaimed celebrity chef Vivek Singh.
The event has been organised and curated by Devonshire Square’s Community and Events Management, and it is FREE to attend. However, registration via the dedicated Eventbrite page, available here, is strictly required as availability is limited.
Alternatively, you can register your attendance by emailing the DSQ team on frontdesk@dsq.london.
