Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, from 1pm to 2pm - FREE entry

A vibrant musical celebration with complimentary festive treats and mulled wine, in aid of local homeless charities

On Tuesday, 2nd December, from 1pm to 2pm, Devonshire Square will celebrate the launch of the 10th edition of its ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival with a vibrant and immersive live performance, ‘Winter Spark: An Electric Serenade’, by the exceptionally talented female electric ensemble, Vesper.

This accomplished quartet, known for its magnetic energy, refined musicianship, and unmistakable edge, promises to mesmerize the audience with an uplifting repertoire featuring festive favourites alongside a dynamic mix of beloved pop and classical hits.

Vesper’s impressive career highlights include collaborations with icons such as Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Emeli Sandé, Beverley Knight, and Nile Rodgers. Individually, its members have also performed and recorded with major artists including Lady Gaga, Robbie Williams, Clean Bandit, and Elbow.

Attendees will enjoy a complimentary tasting experience of freshly prepared festive treats from DSQ’s retailers, along with delicious mulled wine courtesy of Devonshire Terrace, DSQ’s iconic restaurant and cocktail bar by Drake & Morgan.
The event is free to attend, and tastings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Devonshire Square’s Art for Love’ Winter Festival

The performance forms part of Devonshire Square’s ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival, a curated programme of world-class artistic experiences organised by Devonshire Square’s Community and Events Management to support the arts and raise awareness of important social causes.

Charity Appeal – DSQ’s Giving Tree

This year’s edition of the festival is dedicated to supporting The Connection, London’s largest homeless charity, and local non-profit Whitechapel Mission. From 15th November and throughout the festival, Devonshire Square will collect essential items – such as warm clothing, non-perishable food, and toiletries – in aid of these deserving charities.

Donations can be dropped off at the ground floor receptions of Buildings 6, 9, 9a, and 7, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. All contributions will be delivered to the charities over the festive season, with a second delivery scheduled for the second week of January.

For inspiration on what to give, visit the Devonshire Square’s Giving Tree, a unique Christmas tree adorned with paper hearts on which the wishes of those in need, supported by The Connection Charity, have been transcribed. Visitors are invited to read and honour these wishes in the true spirit of the season.

The Giving Tree will be on display in Devonshire Square’s Western Courtyard from 2nd December to 7th January and is free to visit.

All artists performing during the DSQ ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival will appear beside this iconic tree, which has helped hundreds of homeless individuals receive the essentials they need to face the cold months and to feel cared for during a time when loneliness can be hardest.
