On Wednesday, 18th March, as part of DSQ’s International Women in Arts Festival, DSQ will be hosting ‘Petals & Peace: Crafting Bouquets to Nurture Your Mind’, a relaxing and inspiring workshop led by the very talented and inspiring floral artist Shilpa Reddy.
Shilpa founded her floral art company in 2017, and since then she has been sharing her passion through her London flower school, where she teaches the art of creatively and sustainably arranging blooms.
Shilpa has created stunning floral designs for London’s iconic locations, premier weddings, and events, earning recognition in BBC’s Gardener’s World and The Evening Standard.
The unique session she will deliver to the DSQ community combines the art of floral arrangement with mindful creativity, offering participants a chance to disconnect from daily stress, nurture their minds, and reconnect with their aesthetic sense.
Guided by Shilpa, attendees will create their own beautiful bouquets in an inclusive, welcoming, and stimulating environment, while enjoying the opportunity to socialise and connect with fellow community members.
The workshop is further enriched with short presentations by specialised therapists from Self Space, focusing on the theme ‘How to Grow Through What You Go Through’, providing gentle insights into mindfulness, wellbeing, and self-care.
The workshop is open to everyone and, at the end of the session, all participants will take home their handcrafted floral creations – a tangible reminder of the creativity, relaxation, and community spirit fostered during the event. Attendees will also be gifted a copy of the mindfulness book ‘‘How to Grow Through What You Go Through’.
The workshop will take place in DSQ’s Creative Studio, DSQube, from 1pm to 2pm and is FREE to attend; however, registration is required via email to the Front Desk (frontdesk@dsq.london), as availability is limited.
