On Friday 29th April, from 6pm to 9pm, Devonshire Square will be hosting in its Pop Up Art Studio a Shibori dyeing workshop.
Focusing on a selection of traditional Japanese Shibori dyeing techniques, participants will learn how to create a range of unique dyed patterns on fabric.
Over the course of 2 – 3 hours, artist Renin Bilginer will talk about the process and the techniques the attendees will be learning, followed by step by step guidance. The workshop will focus on Arashi, Itajime Triangle and Ne-maki techniques.
