On Wednesday, 30th October, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Devonshire Square will celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, by hosting in its atmospheric Western Courtyard the sixth edition of its highly anticipated Diwali Festival!
The FREE-to-attend event is part of Devonshire Square’s multicultural events program and will feature a spectacular dance show performed by some of the finest Indian folk, classical, and contemporary dancers in the UK, presented by Akademi South Asian Dance UK.
The event will also showcase one of India’s most beautiful and traditional visual arts, Rangoli, created on-site by award-winning artist Miguel Rajaguru.
Guests will be treated to a complimentary tasting experience of Indian confectionery specialties and an assorted selection of Diwali canapés, served with “Odyssey Rose Nectar,” an exquisitely delicate, velvety drink inspired by traditional Indian rose milk made with pure rose essence. This delicious drink has been exclusively created for Devonshire Square’s Diwali Festival by the talented mixologists at Cinnamon Kitchen, Devonshire Square’s iconic Indian restaurant.
Attendees can also enjoy complimentary Henna art, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is FREE to attend; however, registration via the dedicated Eventbrite page is strictly required as availability is limited.
