From Tuesday 25th June to Tuesday 23rd July, Devonshire Square will be proudly hosting in its DSQube pop up Art Studio City Crops, an immersive farming experience created by Square Mile Farms, an award-winning company that specialises in integrating vertical farms into office spaces, and creating unique engagement experiences through events and farm participation.
The immersive farming experience at Devonshire Square will be hosting harvest, cooking demonstrations, delicious food tasting sessions, as well as educational workshops for both the local community and schools, showing how we can all live more sustainably, while still being able to enjoy the foods that we love.
City Crops will be open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 5.30pm, and educational workshops will be delivered daily from 12noon to 2pm.
All events are FREE to attend and open to everyone.

Events Schedule:
- From 25th June to 21st July, from 12pm to 2pm – Educational Workshops (unavailable on the following days: 28th June, 4th July and 16th July).
- 27th June, from 5pm to 8pm – Soft launch event – Meet the Square Mile Farms team, learn all about City Crops, and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink.
- 28th June, from 1pm to 2pm – Generation UK informative event and networking session.
- 2nd July, from 5pm to 6pm – Gourmet food tasting experience: ‘Trofie al pesto’ – Enoteca da Luca’s Executive Chef, Giuseppe Ferreri, will prepare a delicious classic dish from Liguria, the ‘Trofie al pesto’, utilising exclusively organic basil grown in Devonshire Square’s farm. Participants will enjoy a complimentary tasting experience of this delicious Italian classic with a twist!
- Tuesday 16th July, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm – Gourmet food tasting experience: ‘Special Canapés’ – Attendees will be treated to a complimentary tasting experience of mouth-watering canapés created by Cinnamon Kitchen‘s Executive Chef, Raju Ramachandran, utilising herbs grown in Devonshire Square’s urban farm. The assorted selection created by the award-winning chef includes shrimps with red chard, sweet potato and basil cake with smoked tomato chutney, thyme flavoured chicken tikka with coriander chutney, and Indo Chinese stir fried chilli paneer in gem lettuce.
- 17th July, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm – Closing ceremony – Networking session with complimentary canapés and drinks.
- 18th July, from 5.30pm to 8pm – Six Inches of Soil Documentary Screening
