On Thursday 1st December, Devonshire Square will be celebrating the opening of its ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival with a joyful and engaging singing performance executed by members of the Devonshire Square community, led by professional conductor Jessica Norton of Music in Offices.
The performance will be taking place in Devonshire Square’s historical Western Courtyard, by the Giving Tree, and will be followed by a wonderful lunchtime concert by the Abraxas Ensemble.
The exceptionally talented string quintet will present a beautiful repertoire that includes some of the most famous festive songs by international composers, delivered with their distinctively vibrant and dynamic style.
The Abraxas Ensemble has performed internationally in some of the most popular events, TV shows and festivals, including GMTV and Chelsea Flower Show.
Attendees will also enjoy a tasting experience of complimentary festive treats and delicious mulled wine, offered by Devonshire Square’s iconic restaurants Cinnamon Kitchen and Devonshire Terrace.
The event is part of the Devonshire Square’s Art for Love Winter Festival, organised by the Devonshire Square Events Team to raise awareness and funds in aid or The Connection, London’s busiest homeless charity, to which the Giving Tree that beautifies the Western Courtyard is also dedicated.
The Devonshire Square’s community will be fundraising in aid of The Connection for the whole duration of the festival.
Donations can be made online by visiting The Connection’s official website: https://www.connection-at-stmartins.org.uk/donate/
The event is FREE to attend, however, registration by emailing the Devonshire Square Team on frontdesk@dsq.london is required, as availability is limited.
