On Thursday 5th December, from 1pm to 1:45pm, Devonshire Square will be hosting in its historical Western Courtyard ‘Christmas Crescendo’, an uplifting lunchtime concert by exceptionally talented electric violinists Naomi Wilmshurst and the Celestial Strings.
The all-female trio have performed internationally with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Skepta and Indian Idol winner Salman Ali, and they have graced a number of prestigious venues both in UK and abroad, including the House of Lords, the Barbican, the Royal Albert Hall and the London Eye.
The talented musicians will be presenting to the Devonshire Square community an exciting and diverse repertoire that will include some of the most popular Pop, rock and classical songs by various international artists, as well as some of the most beautiful film scores of all time.
To celebrate the festive event, attendees will be treated to a complimentary tasting of Bibi’s delicious homemade carrot cake!
The event is free to attend, however, registration by emailing the Devonshire Square Team on frontdesk@dsq.london is required, as the complimentary cakes will be freshly baked on the day of the event for all registered attendees.
‘Christmas Crescendo’ is part of Devonshire Square’s ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival, a 2 week-programme of FREE-to-attend world-class artistic performances, curated and organised annually by Devonshire Square with the aim of supporting the arts and bringing communities together, while raising awareness of important social causes.
For this year’s edition of the festival, Devonshire Square will be supporting The Connection, London’s busiest homeless charity, and the local charity Whitechapel Mission.
Participants are warmly encouraged to donate online via the charities’ official websites – The Connection and Whitechapel Mission – quoting Devonshire Square to show that they joined the appeal.
Alternatively, they can respond to Devonshire Square’s Giving Tree Appeal by donating a gift to those in need.
