We are delighted to announce that on Sunday 4th December, from 4.30pm to 9pm, Devonshire Square’s historical Western Courtyard will be hosting The Soul Royalty Winter Festival, an evening of incredible live music curated and organised by international touring artist Zalon – who performed as Amy Winehouse’s leading singer for many years – in partnership with Devonshire Square, with the aim of raising awareness and funds in aid of The Connection, London’s busiest homeless charity.
Zalon will be headlining the Soul Royalty Winter Festival performing songs from his album and he will be backed by Amy Winehouse’s original band members, ‘The Winehouse Originals’, who are joining Devonshire Square for the second time in supporting this important social cause.
The festival is a family friendly event and will showcase some of the best young emerging talent in Soul, Funk and Reggae music.
During the evening, a selection of drinks, including Winter warm specials, will be available at the pop-up bar run by Devonshire Square’s Indian restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen.
The show is FREE to attend, however, registration via the dedicated Eventbrite page is strictly required as availability is limited.
Donations in aid of the charity can be made online by visiting the donation page of The Connection’s official website: https://www.connection-at-stmartins.org.uk/donate/
Zalon and all artists that will be taking part in the festival will be encouraging online donations throughout the evening.
Donation boxes will also be available on the day of the event by Devonshire Square’s iconic Giving Tree, a unique Christmas tree entirely adorned with paper hearts, on which wishes expressed by the homeless supported by The Connection charity have been transcribed, in order to give them a chance to be read and honoured by visitors.
We would like to warmly thank everyone who is joining Devonshire Square, Zalon and all the fantastic musicians who are taking part in the Festival, in supporting The Connection homeless charity.
