On Friday 17th June, from 1pm to 3pm, our community members are given the opportunity to take action against the destructive environmental effects of littering and plastic pollution, by participating in a litter pick up on the bank of the River Thames, organised in partnership with Bywaters and 70 St Mary Axe.
The meeting point is outside the OXO Tower and the closest station is Blackfriars.
The organisers will provide participants with all the PPE needed and they will dispose of all the rubbish collected.
You just need to wear sturdy and watertight footwear as the area we will be working in will be a riverbank/beach area at low tide so will still be wet underfoot.
Please, be advised that you should only bring with you what you can carry as there isn’t anywhere to leave personal belongings!
If you are happy to donate a few hours of your time on a Friday afternoon, please contact the Devonshire Square Team on frontdesk@devonshiresq.co.uk as soon as possible, as availability is limited, so that we can register your attendance and we will provide you with further information.
You are all warmly invited to join us in taking part in this great environmental initiative!
