On Thursday 7th December, from 1pm to 1:45pm, Devonshire Square will be celebrating the opening of its very own ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival 2023 with an uplifting lunchtime concert by exceptionally talented electric string collective Azul Strings.
The all-female quartet have performed internationally with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Skepta and Indian Idol winner Salman Ali, and they have graced a number of prestigious venues both in UK and abroad, including the House of Lords, the Barbican, the Royal Albert Hall and the London Eye.
The Azul Strings will be presenting to the Devonshire Square community an exciting and diverse repertoire that will include some of the most popular Pop, rock and classical songs by various international artists, as well as some of the most beautiful film scores of all time.
Attendees will be treated to a complimentary tasting experience of the delicious Rasmalai Tres Leches Cake Pistacchio Nougat, an exquisite Indian confectionary delicacy, freshly baked for the occasion by Cinnamon Kitchen’s Executive Chef Raju Ramachandran.
The event is FREE to attend and the complimentary desserts will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
The lunchtime concert by the Azul Strings is part of Devonshire Square’s ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival, a 2 week-programme of FREE-to-attend world-class artistic performances, curated and organised annually by Devonshire Square with the aim of supporting the arts and bringing communities together, while raising awareness of important social causes.
For this year’s edition, Devonshire Square will be supporting The Connection Homeless Charity and Future Talent, a UK registered charity that supports gifted young musicians from low-income backgrounds to flourish.
