From 4th to 14th December, Devonshire Square will be hosting the 9th edition of its very own and highly anticipated ‘Art for Love’ Winter Festival, a 2 week-programme of FREE-to-attend world-class artistic performances, curated and organised by Devonshire Square’s Community and Events Management, with the aim of supporting the arts and bringing communities together, while raising awareness of important social causes.
For this year’s edition, Devonshire Square will be supporting The Connection Homeless Charity and Future Talent, a UK registered charity that supports gifted young musicians from low-income backgrounds to flourish.
Kicking off on Thursday 7th December with an uplifting show by female electric string quartet, Azul Strings, the Festival features an outstanding line-up of performances by both local and international artists, including a Christmas concert by Classic Brit Award nominees and internationally acclaimed classical sopranos Ida Girls, a dance show choreographed by former English National Ballet soloist dancer and choreographer Jenna Lee – performed by professional ballerinas from renowned London-based creative company, JLee Productions – and a Christmas piano concert by sensational contemporary classical pianist and composer, Karim Kamar, who will be performing with a collective of young talented pianists from London.
Attendees will also be treated to complimentary tasting experiences of festive delicacies, which will be created for the occasion by the executive chefs and experienced mixologists of Devonshire Square’s iconic restaurants and bars.
All performances will be taking place in Devonshire Square’s Western Courtyard, where the Giving Tree, dedicated to The Connection Homeless, will be on display from 4th December to 7th January.
